On a Personal Note
I can't believe how quickly time is passing! It's
almost springtime and we never actually had a winter! Not too much going
on here. Saw William Shatner in Shatner's World. Once I got over the
fact that it was Captain Kirk up there on stage, it was a very fun show.
Shatner is charming and funny and it was an entertaining evening.
Then to make it even better my husband saw he and his wife on the street, and
she loved our dog! Max is quite the dog about town. Ridly Scott
liked him as well. If only he'd been with us the day we saw Woody Allen.
Looking forward to seeing Jesus Christ Superstar this spring. And also
Idina Menzel at Carnegie Hall this fall. Loved her in Wicked and in
Rent, as well as on Glee.

On the writing front, Deadly Dance, the fifth book in my A-Tac series, is available now! For those of you who have been writing to ask that Harrison Blake have his own book, this is it! Harrison started out with Last Chance and then moved to A-Tac when they found themselves in need of a computer forensics man. And now in Hannah Marshall, he may just have met his match! (for Last Chance fans--watch for the return of Madison Roarke and Tracy Braxton)
Here's the blurb:
As the intelligence specialist for A-Tac, a black-ops CIA unit masquerading as Ivy League faculty, Hannah Marshall is used to working behind the scenes. But when a brutal murder hits too close to home, Hannah finds herself in the middle of the action, falling in love while racing to outwit a sadistic mastermind.
A KILLER CLOSES IN
After the death of her A-Tac partner, Hannah doubts everything she thought she knew about love and loyalty. When handsome Harrison Blake joins the team, she’s reluctant to trust him—or to act on her intense attraction to him. Then Hannah receives a podcast of a gruesome murder, and the only person who can help her find the killer is Harrison.
Harrison has spent years trying to hunt down the cunning monster who killed his sister. Now investigating with Hannah, he faces a shocking possibility—his sister’s murderer has resurfaced. As the danger escalates, Hannah and Harrison grow closer, and the desire simmering between them ignites. After Hannah disappears, Harrison has only one chance to save the woman he loves.
And coming this summer, the re-release of my Last Chance Trilogy in digital format! Here's a look at the new covers!
Check out my website for excerpts, reviews and more links.
And finally, I just finished the sixth A-Tac book, Double Danger, coming in January of 2013. This is Simon's book. He and the heroine, Jillian, share a past, but a lot has happened in between and when they're thrown together to fight the Consortium, they'll need to overcome their issues to find a way to win the day. Watch for the new cover (which is fabulous) coming to my website soon! And I've already begun thinking about Avery's story. We'll see where the muse takes me, but I do think the man deserves his day!
What I'm Watching/Reading
Honest to goodness, I've been so busy writing that I haven't had time to read much besides my Rita books--although I'm telling you they were all fabulous (unfortunately that's as far as I'm allowed to go). I've got the new Julia London book on my nightstand. And The Paris Wife on my iPad, so I've got pages calling my name!
As always, write and let me know what you think of my books, upcoming releases, or just writing in general. I love hearing from you!!!! You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org Or by snail mail at P.O. Box 7231, NY, NY 10150 And if you're interested you can follow me at both Twitter and Facebook.
